HMO WISCONSIN CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS
A welcome embrace of context and culture
As a rural-based HMO, the client wished to retain this identity in the design of the new facility. The character of this building is established through the articulation of the building mass into smaller parts and the use of materials familiar to the agricultural buildings of the region; stone masonry, tile and brick. The building responds to its site by presenting a refined (office) façade to the street and a more austere (industrial) façade to its industrial neighbors behind the site. In addition, the sweeping curve of the front façade extends side to side across the property to welcome visitors and establish a commanding presence on the site.
