Healthy corporate culture leads to an office paradigm shift in this transformation of Huhtamaki's North American headquarters.

The North American headquarters for Huhtamaki, a multi-national food container manufacturer, had not seen a serious renovation since the 1980’s. Significant growth, changes in corporate culture and a paradigm shift in office design necessitated a complete restructuring of departments and space allocation.

The existing office layout – perimeter private offices with cube farms at the core – left most of the administrative offices with little access to natural light. By replacing the perimeter office walls with glass, strategic placement of meeting spaces and the strategic introduction of several skylights, all interior office spaces enjoy both light and views in a bucolic setting.

Coffee stations were also introduced throughout the 65,000 SF of administrative space to encourage casual meetings and provide further access to natural light.
